AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho is reuniting with some of his former students.
First, Romelu Lukaku, a former student of Mourinho’s at Manchester United, will join AS Roma. According to the BBC, “Chelsea’s Lukaku will join AS Roma on a one-year loan. AS Roma will pay a £8 million (approx. 13.3 billion won) fee and cover Lukaku’s salary.”
Italian media also reported that “Lukaku arrived in Rome on the AS Roma president’s private plane. Lukaku was warmly welcomed by AS Roma fans. Lukaku has completed his medical and the only thing left to do is to announce the transfer on a one-season loan.”
Mourinho is also looking to sign another former pupil. Mourinho is looking to sign another former Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos.
Ramos donned the Real Madrid shirt in 2005 and played 16 seasons for the club until 2021. A total of 671 games. That’s the fourth most appearances in Real Madrid history. Ramos is known for being a goal-scoring defender. He scored 101 goals for Real Madrid. 먹튀검증
During this time, he won four UEFA Champions League (UCL) titles, including the first three in a row in the 21st century. In total, Ramos has won 22 trophies with Real Madrid.
This is the kind of player Mourinho wants. Ramos is a free agent after parting ways with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and has yet to find another team. He’s been linked with Saudi Arabia, but has declared that he won’t go. Recently, Turquoise giants Galatasaray wanted Ramos, but negotiations have stalled.
This is why Mourinho has sent a direct message to Ramos.
“Mourinho called Ramos himself,” said Italian publication TMW. He told Ramos, ‘Join AS Roma. The possibility of a reunion between Mourinho and Ramos has increased,” TMW reported.
“It is said that Mourinho and Ramos did not get along at Real Madrid, but after Mourinho left Real Madrid, they resolved their misunderstanding and developed a good relationship,” it added.
