‘Oh My Captain’ Hwang Hee-chan holds on to captain in ‘farewell declaration’

“Best player, stay with the team” has launched a bid to retain “captain” Heurent Neves, 26, of Wolverhampton, who has effectively said goodbye to the club.

“Hwang Hee-chan wants ‘incredible’ captain Neves to stay with him at Wolverhampton next season,” the Express and Star reported on April 22.

Neves is preparing to say goodbye to Wolverhampton at the end of the season. He’s been a key midfielder for the team this season, winning both the fans’ player of the year and his teammates’ player of the year, but it looks like he’s leaving for a bigger challenge.

According to the BBC, Neves said after the last match against Everton: “I want to stay here (at the Molineux Stadium), but I will never hide the fact that I want to play in the UEFA Champions League (UCL). It’s a difficult decision. Me and my family love this place, but in football you have to dream big,” he said.

Neves added: 토토사이트 “Nothing has happened yet. “Even if this is my last game here, I’ve really enjoyed it. Thank you very much for the last six seasons.”

Neves, of course, has some time left on his contract. He’s signed with Wolverhampton until the summer of 2024. Even if he leaves at the end of this season, he still has one more year left.

However, Wolverhampton will also be looking to offload him for a fee next year when he becomes a free agent. According to the Telegraph, Wolverhampton are looking for up to £40 million.

Neves dreams of moving to FC Barcelona. European soccer transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said: “Neves is waiting after agreeing a potential long-term deal with Barcelona. He wants to move to Barcelona.”
