Fame as a player…Pirlo, Turquoise, and hard at the club.

Once again, it’s been confirmed that skill and fame as a player are no guarantee of success as a coach.
Italian Andrea Pirlo has stepped down as head coach of first division Turkiye professional soccer team Fatih Karagumluk SK, the club announced on Thursday (local time). He left by mutual consent with three league games remaining, but was effectively dismissed.

Pirlo signed a one-year contract with the Istanbul-based Super League side last summer after being sacked by Italian side Juventus, where he first took charge.

“As I will not be able to continue with coach Andrea Pirlo and his staff next season, I have given them permission to leave with immediate effect to give them 메이저놀이터 the opportunity to plan their future,” the club said.

Pirlo has had a remarkable career as a world-class playmaker. He won six Serie A titles with Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan, two Champions League titles, and one FIFA World Cup.

After retiring, he turned to coaching, but hasn’t had the same success.

He took charge of Juventus and attempted to win 10 consecutive Serie A titles, but failed. He was sacked after just one season in 2021.

He was given a second chance at Karagümülük, but this time he failed to live up to expectations. Three defeats in his last four games left him in ninth place, 35 points behind leaders Galatasaray, and the club finally pulled the trigger.
